Univa Grid Engine 8.0.1 reached beta state

Univa Grid Engine 8.0.1 is on the way! Univa is near completion of the second release of their new Grid Engine version. Despite the fact that this is a minor update which targets to close dozens of open bugs (like long term open bugs from the open source which were reported by customers), it also comes with additional new functionality. Some enhancements where done for the job submissions verifiers (JSV), the Linux AMD64 architecture binaries are exploiting now the hwloc library for accessing the host architecture specific settings (this solves the wrong processor/thread reporting on execution hosts based on the AMD Magny Course architecture). UGE 8.0.1 also ships a new CUDA load sensor, which reports specific parameters (like ecc error etc.) of NVIDIA GPU cards.
